T25 Focus Alpha/Beta substitute workout question

In previewing the set I bought used, I found out my Alpha Cardio DVD isn't working. It's pretty scratched so I haven't been able to rescue it with cleaning. I don't want to hunt a replacement disc.

For those who have done these workouts, would it be ok to use the Beta Core Cardio in its place?

Or some other workout in the Alpha phase?

Or should I just sub in a 20ish minute cardio from another set?

Thanks for any advice!

I would say cardio is cardio. Anything that will get your heart rate up...

Have you tried to rescue the DVD with “oiling”? There is a Youtube video about it but I don’t remember how to find it. My best memory: The guy takes a tissue such as a Kleenex, folds it many times until it’s kind of a rod, tears it in half so that there is a frayed/feathery end, rubs a frayed end on his hair for oil (eew), then uses the slightly oiled frayed end to buff with a circular motion over the scratches. I have done it three times on used DVDs from Half Priced Books that were freezing or wouldn’t play at all due to scratches. I used a tiny drop of olive oil. I had a bit of excess oil on the DVDs each time (i.e. more than the oil that fills the scratches) so I buffed that off with a clean tissue moving in a circular motion. It fixed all three DVDs.

hdw that's what I kind of thought too. I just wasn't sure if it was an introductory routine.

Terry, I have never tried that..it sounds strange, lol.

Do you have to do that every time you play the DVD?

Not so far. It has been a one time fix.

Thanks for the DVD fix tip.
