Hi! I found this forum after looking up reviews on a few fitness dvds that I was interested in, and wanted to join.

My name is Tiffany and I'm soon to be 35. I prefer to work out at home, and my favorite styles of workout is dance/barre
as well as pilates and yoga. I recently bought a Bellicon so I'll be using that too (it says it comes with a dvd free so I'll add that to my collection).

From what I've read, everyone seems very nice and friendly and the reviews of workout dvds have been extremely helpful for me and saved me boatloads of money, so I both thank you and send a friendly hello

hello and happy new year

hello everyone! i've joined vf back in 2009 but i've always been shy about
posting and remained a lurker. i've learned so much about fitness and different styles of exercising that i've been enabled many, many times! i've even jumped on a few band wagons (P57, TA Meta, RKS, Skogg, and even Gilad's Lord of the Abs). I also learned about Mary, Kineticflix, Livefit Revolution, and other online resources. This forum rocks! Since I go to this forum everyday and check out GD and check ins almost every hour , I'm going out of my shell and start posting.

A little about me. I'm Kathleen, I'm 34 and I've got a heck of a lot of weight
or inches to lose (4'10'' at 156 lbs). My fitness level is advance beginner-ish. Currently I am immensely enjoying kettlebells and classical stretch. I did enjoy gyrotonics (which i tried late last year) but it's so darn expensive! I also like Ellen Barret and Leslie Sansone but I don't do them as much lately.

Anyway, hi and belated happy new year to everyone. I hope I will be able to make some friends here.

Hi Kathleen - Welcome out of lurkdom. I guess those jumps on the bandwagons didn't hurt too bad since you are still here. If you want to get to know people better, I'd suggest joining a check in, if you see one you like. It's a smaller, more intimate environment than the General Discussion area.

Thanks for the welcome, Laura S. and patchworkpenguin! Glad to be here.
Laura S., the bandwagon jumping hurt a bit but also helped me realize what I like and hopefully I'll do better in 2012. I might join the No/Slow/Wise buy challenge. Thanks again!
