Haha, cyana, yes--you are a work from home early adapter!

Sandra, my ipod has a pedometer built in, part of the "Health" app. Do you have one on your smart phone? Maybe my walks are S/MPW.

Paine, some of the videos are more time-consuming than others! The 5-10 minute meditation ones are pretty easy and don't take a lot of prep. I have to plan the yoga ones a bit more; I just jotted down (well, wrote it out in large print with a Sharpie, LOL!) a sequence I'm planning for tomorrow, upper body focused. The hardest was the workshop-type one I did for work today, which took a lot longer; and they pretty much all take a long time to upload since I'm on wireless. But it's a good activity for me and I do enjoy it!

Paine, thanks for starting us off!

Sandra, glad your niece started filming her videos.

Beth, I'm glad you liked my video! Yes, I had a bit of a Firm influence going on (with my accent and cueing). I'm doing another video tomorrow.

LINDA!! So good to hear from you!!

Cyana, there were some large birds that woke me up this morning.

Last week I revisited some Firm workouts.

Sunday:
Cathe's Cycle Max (nice ride but Pedal Power remains my favorite)
Beth's 30 Minute Hips & Back practice (felt sooooo good--thank you Beth!)

Monday:
The Firm: Body Sculpting Basics (aka Volume 1--still burned my lower body out three years later)

Tuesday:
Rest day

Wednesday:
The Firm: Tortoise (fun to revisit but easier than I remembered; since doing more of Cathe's workouts where she changes barbell plates throughout it was hard to pick the proper barbell weight)

Thursday:
Christi Taylor's Totally Cool Step 2 (got this in Mary's sale...so much fun although the workout was only 40 minutes. It flew by!)

Friday:
The Firm: Firm Strength (my favorite of all time )

Saturday:
30 minute Mow Max
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This week I decided to start a modified P90X rotation. I've owned the set for a long time and have only done one of the workouts (Chest & Back) last year. So this week I'm working through the workouts for Block 1.

Sunday:
P90X Chest & Back (I did much better than when I did it last year, and my chest and back are still feeling it today!)
Ab Ripper X (had to take lots of breaks but "did my best and forgot the rest")

Monday:
P90X Plyometrics (I surprisingly enjoyed this one. The moves are done at a controlled pace, except for a few starting slowly then increasing tempo. I stayed at the slower tempo to recruit more muscle fibers in my lower body.)

Today was P90X Shoulders & Arms, followed by Slim and 6 Pack (from the refilmed Si6). Shoulders & Arms is a goodie. I like how the exercises are circuit fashion--one shoulder exercise, one bicep exercise, one tricep exercise, repeat them, then move onto three new ones.

((((((6 FOOT HUGS)))))) all around!

Garrie, glad you liked my yoga practice! The funny thing is that I never imagined you with a Southern accent--although obviously I should have. I am impressed that you are starting a P90x rotation in the midst of all this.

Running late today but will try to film a yoga practice this afternoon.

Glad to hear that everyone is doing okay!

Yesterday I did a short walk, Dedicate Day 13 from YWA and Beth’s Wandering Mind meditation . Thank you so much, Beth!

Today I did another walk up the hills and steps on the harbour.. I agree, cyana that it is cool to have a natural way to get in an interval walk.

Anny, how was it to sit for you with that one?

It started sunny here today but still cooler (mid-40s F). We have some warmer days in store for next week though.

Happy April!

Hi all!

Fasten your seatbelts -- looks like April will be a bumpy ride.

No formal workout yesterday, but did enjoy a MPW with my niece and grandniece. I'm planning a LPW for myself this morning, and a more formal workout this afternoon.

Beth: I should check into a step counter app on my phone, but for now I think I'll just go by time to measure my PWs.

Garrie: One thing I've noticed about Firm instructors is that they were all trained on how to properly cue a workout -- and those that have gone out on their own carry that expertise with them. I see Mow Max is back in your rotation LOL. Sending you a nice virtual elbow bump!

Waving to all -- be back later!

Did mountain go out like a lion?

Sandra, I did about 45 minutes of your niece's yin practice today (I'm having trouble focusing on anything for much longer than that). It felt good--she has such a sweet demeanor! I also liked seeing your space and Karma! One thing she might consider is filming in wide screen mode so that people can watch from a variety of devices.

Happy April Fool's Day!

Squeeze: all Upper Body work plus waist, Legs & the "L"

Last week I did Squeeze Stronger so today I thought I do Squeeze. They are both good workouts.

Yesterday was an unplanned rest day. I couldn't make myself workout although in the evening I did do Beth's gentle upper body practice focusing on the shoulders, which felt great--thank you Beth!

Beth, I'll pass on your suggestion to my niece. She has many more online practices/classes lined up! I personally would like to see her film shorter segments -- the "balance" class she did in my living room yesterday went an hour and 15 minutes.
