Lower body and abs focus

Hi all

With summer right around the corner I want to do a rotation that focuses on shaping up the lower body and abs . What is good workout program to use for this? I am intermediate and can only do 30 min workouts. I do have about 10 pounds to lose. Thanks!

Great question. I was going to come here and ask about a rotation that isn't upper body heavy as I hurt my shoulder and as that heals still want to do weights. Can't wait to see some suggestions.

Otherwise I will have to go through my workouts and see what isn't upper body intensive.

I think alternating days of cardio with days of 20 minute lower body work + 10 minutes of abs would be good. One cardio day can be something just steady state like walking, jogging, step, kickboxing and another cardio can be more metabolic but with very light weights. The metabolic and cardio would still be working legs. The separate leg days can all be floor work.

-Cardio
-Floor + Abs
-Metabolic
-Rest

-Floor + Abs
-Metabolic

ALL are 20-30min, Lower + Abs; then did Intermediate & Beg/Int for both Muscle only & Cardio + Muscle together.
Didn't come up with much though, sorry - removed entries that are ancient (eg CIA 9004) or local (eg Aussie Fit)

I think the butt bible phase 1 is 30 minutes or less. Also, Edge Booty Extreme Volume 1 is under 30 minutes.

Brazil Butt Lift is actually full-body with a lower-body emphasis and lots of ab work. Most of the workouts are 30 minutes; some of the rotations double up on workouts, but some rotations are lighter and you can also roll-your-own 30-minute rotation pretty easily.

Pvolve! There are several 30 minute workouts. Also, the Complete Evolution dvd has shorter workouts too. Standing Sculpt - 17 mins., MicroTone - 14 mins., Lift & Firm - 16 mins.

I did this workout last night for the first time, although I've had it for years. It was buried in the depths of a drawer (I REALLY need to organize my DVD's!). Although this is a beginner/intermediate workout, if you use a heavy resistance band and heavier weights you can really up the intensity of it. I love the band work in this workout; my legs were burning! It probably would have remained in the depths of my drawer if I hadn't seen this post recommending it for lower body work. So thank you!

I'm not familiar with Pvolve, but popsugar just posted a 30 minute Pvolve Victorias Secret butt and leg toning workout today.

This is exactly what I thought of!
