Soaks besides Epsom salt?

Is there any other kinds of good soaks out there for muscles/joints other than Epsom salts? It's a long story, but I prefer not to use that if I can help it.

Any ideas or recommendations? It's for joint issues in my foot. Thanks!

If you don't like Epsom, than you probably won't like sea salts, plus they are way more expensive. I've tried Dead Sea salt and switched to Epsom to save money; just as effective. Here are some other suggestions I found:

I've seen people suggest a ginger bath for sore muscles and to "detox" (whatever that actually means). It's using powdered or fresh ginger in the bath, but I've never actually tried it myself.

Dr. Singha's mustard bath. awesome. on Amazon or health food stores. great for when you ache or have a cold, are sick. the reviews on amazon are very positive, I have used it for years.

I've been using Kneipp bath products for years and absolutely love them.

Thanks for the additional suggestions! I like the looks of the Kneipp and Dr. Singh stuff.

I want to try this recipe. It looks pretty simple to make & it's supposed to be similar to Dr Singha's mustard bath. You could use the magnesium chloride flakes instead of Epsom salts.

Thanks, Pam! I bookmarked that link. I like DIY's. I may look for the magnesium flakes. For some reason Epsom salt use makes me feel dizzy. It might sound silly, but I know it happens from experience... every time!
