I go look at the used prices on ebay or amazon. You can always state "OBO" (or best offer) if you are not sure how to price it.

Ok, I knew I'd need help and I feel silly.

I can't figure that place out! The webpage seems so... well, confusing, I guess. I sign in and literally don't even know where to go from there. I did find the forums for a moment, but that didn't clarified anything.

Can somebody help this ignorant little vidiot with step-by-step instructions? .

I have a MAC so I'm hoping I don't have the virus issues

Thanks for the encouragement! I'm looking forward to a sale and then a share the wealth.

Aww, don't feel silly, some boards are more confusing than others.

It's under the Shoppin' and Swappin' section - you may have to scroll down a bit

Once there, at the top above the "search tags" area, you should see some choices :
forum jump, mark forum read, new poll, new topic

To start a thread, you'll choose "new topic "

I hope I didn't just add to the confusion.

Do most of you not charge for shipping? How much does shipping typically cost?

Thanks!
Tami

I haven't sold in years, but I used to include shipping in the price. Some people sell for low prices, but then ask to add $2 or so for shipping, with a discount offered for buying more than one. There are no set rules, just a matter of preference.

First Class shipping for one DVD is a little under $2. Then there's the cost of the envelope and tape, the time you spend packaging it up, driving to the P.O. when you could be doing something else, etc. That's the 'handling' in addition to the shipping. I usually post one price that includes everything and I only accept PayPal and only ship to the continental US. That assures that the buyer follows through immediately, rather than waiting around for a check to arrive when the buyer could have changed her/his mind in the meantime.

You can also use delivery confirmation and charge for it. I don't remember what that costs. By the time I list my DVDs, I'm ready to just get rid of them and usually do so at a loss. Better to get something than have them gathering dust.
