Exclamation LOL! Cathe's shipping prices!

I was browsing at Cathe's site. There is a coupon code if you order her 2024 calendar. I have been eyeing her barbell set and put it in my cart. With the code, the price was not too bad.

I then found out the shipping cost.

I clicked out of her shop ASAP.

Whew! That was close!!!

Not only are they outrageous, but she stacks them. It doesn't matter whether you order one item or ten, each comes with its own shipping price as if it were the only one. I thought adding a band to the yoga mat order wouldn't raise the shipping price, but no, they charged full shipping price to add it on.

Really? I didn't know that. Guess I've only considered buying when she was offering free shipping . But like VVfer said, still too expensive. I wanted to buy her barbell set and the shipping was crazy. I'm right here in NJ too!

When it comes to heavy weights, I think it's best to buy locally if you can. Of course sales taxes can bad at times, but not as bad sending heavy weights through the mail.

Haha at the tag on this thread. I’ve bought some items through her Amazon store, but anything I have bought on her site I try to choose enough to get free shipping. The barbell shipping was crazy, but that’s something I would probably purchase locally because any way you slice it, that’s a heavy package. I don’t mind paying something for shipping if it’s “reasonable", but I am annoyed when the shipping cost is related to the dollar amount purchased. What the heck does the item price have to do with the weight of the item which is what determines the actual cost of shipping??

I haven't had that happen...what mat and band were you putting in your cart? I want to see if it happens for me. Wonder if it's a glitch? The last time I bought it added slightly to price (or was the same) when I added items. (I did switch from one method to another though. )
