Walk
TBL: Pilates w/a Purpose, Day 1: Classic Flow

Cheri, did I remind you about the challenge?

Donna, the weather really turned here too!

Carol, yesterday was a nice day for yard work. I hate that it gets dark by 5pm now though.

Waves to all!

I agree, it was getting dark when I left work today....makes me want to hibernate. I did walk at work today to run an errand and get fresh air.

I have a lot of family stuff going on right now - please, if you pray, pray for my family and me for strength and stamina and for God to show us the way.

Absolutely! I pray for you and your family every day, and will continue to do so. I'm really sorry for all you have going on. Please let me know if there's anything I can do from NY!

Thank you, Carol

This morning I did Leslie's Mile in The Morning DVD - Mile # 2 and Robin's Pilates with a Purpose Day 2.

This combo is working for me with the time/energy I have available.

I did walk at work yesterday and ended up with over 7K steps. I figure if I can keep doing that and whatever else I can do in the morning that will be good.

Hope everyone has a good day!

Monday's workout was

Bar Method - Nice & Calm - 25 minutes

Set up very similarly to Sunday's workout, with one or two quick sets of work for each body area that Bar Method works. Still lots of stretching throughout, at a little slower pace than Sunday's workout. Yum! Bar Method studios have a class format where you do a 30 minute express workout, followed by 30 minutes of Bar Method stretching. There's at least one of those workouts online, and I want to do it!

Donna - Good job! Walking + short pilates is a great workout option.

Christine & Donna - here in West Texas we are thrilled that we have changed back to regular time. We are on the far west edge of the Central Time zone and it would be pitch black at 7:30 am when I leave for work. My commute yesterday was oh so much better in the daylight! In the summers it doesn't get dark until 10 or so. I'm thinking we really need more time zones to even that kind of stuff out, but that's not likely to happen.

The time change here makes it dark by 5:20 on the shortest day of the year. I know it’s far worse further east,

Donna -I, too, am praying for you.

TBL Challenge Day 2: Lengthen and Strengthen .

Christine-glad to have a challenge buddy.
