I see that you’re in Denver (I’m in Loveland)...do you ever watch 9 News? I just found out on FB that one of their anchors had a stroke earlier this year and she has got to be in her 30s!! Her name is Kristen Aguirre and I guess she had to relearn how to walk and use her left hand. They recently posted a video of her running in the gym for physical therapy. Pretty amazing!

Karen, I'm so sorry to hear what happened. Thank goodness your husband took matters in hand and so quickly! I hope and pray you have a full recovery and that the dizziness disappears. Take care!!

I'm glad you're doing better and hope that dizziness goes away. You're very lucky that your husband knew the symptoms and acted so quickly. You definitely have a keeper there!!!

Hi Karen,

Sorry to hear that happened to you, but glad you're okay now!

I first thought I might be having a stroke a couple weekends ago. DH took me to the ER and I was diagnosed with Bell's Palsy (temporary facial paralysis.) I was so shocked that this could have happened and I'd been very active all day. Thankful, it wasn't a stroke for me. It just goes to show us that no matter how healthy we think we might be, anything could happen. Hopefully we won't have a repeat of this again.
