yes, and P90x always has someone using the band, including for pull-ups. you just need a way to attach the band to something higher than your head.
Kathy smith's rejuvenation series also uses bands - she uses that "partitioned" band, but you can use a regular band.
Gilad's Cuts and Curves has bands in the first half - that is the most challenging band workout I have ever done. suggest having a couple of different levels of resistance nearby.
Debbie Siebers' Slim in 6 uses all bands.
