I don't know if this will get me kicked off VF, but I've never ever, ever tried a Gilad workout. EVER!! I'm not sure why. In all the years of working out, you'd think I'd get curious enough to trade for at least one. I don't do download or stream, but now I'm curious.

Someone said the clips looks familiar to what he has done in the past. What are some other titles to check out? (hope this question isn't high jacking the thread).

TIA

Hi Tina,

Here is a full show of one of his 30th anniversary shows that is on You Tube:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cU4aQWbmdvM&t=4s

I think what people are referring to as being similar is his Ultimate Body Sculpt, Express Workouts, etc.

Like many instructors he has a certain "style" which he tends to repeat in his workouts - it is usually a cardio/kickboxing type of cardio workout and "functional" lower body/core workouts w/ basic upper body type exercises.

If you were curious to try out his style, I think the Express Workout set is a good set to go w/ they are filmed in 10 min sections so you can do as much or as little as you want and I think they fairly represent Gilad's more recent workouts.

I hope that helps a bit!!

Donna, thanks for posting the YT workout, I am going to try it out.

I like Gilad and have had a few of his workouts over the years, I didn't keep any of them though. He is one that I forget about, but think his routines would be suitable for the aging me. Maybe I need to revisit. I recall liking Sculpt and Tone, but found it to be long. His old step workout was a total sweatfest and I didn't hang onto it, probably because I thought it was tough, even though it was basic.

His workouts have great scenery though, I am a little surprised that he has moved indoors. Plus he uses decent music too.

Awwww I love Gilad. His workouts are too easy for me now, but since he was "My First" video fitness instructor, I'm always happy to see him.
He looks amazing!
Wish these were still filmed outside.
Might just have to download and keep for the future or mellower days.

I'm actually not interested in these workouts b/c they're set indoors. Now they look like everyone else's and not specifically Gilad's.

I tend to agree with this. What made Gilad's workouts stand out was the amazing scenery. Having them indoors would be just weird, for long time Gilad fans anyway but maybe I am wrong about that. Who knows.

Yes, but then, Gilad himself is amazing scenery.

The Express workouts are on YT, also. They're on a channel called Discovery Life. (You can see them suggested--or at least I do--when I follow the link above.

Are they the full workouts? Can you post the link?
