The email from Ilaria sent a few days ago mentions that the film is in the final stage of post production.

Being a cancer survivor also, I just say this about cancer, exercise does not stop it, green tea does not stop it and vegetarian life style, does not stop cancer. it is a demolition disease that strikes any gender, nationality and age.
Fight Iliara. you can do it.  Keep a positive mind and don't let the negative people i your life now.. as they say, you're too weak to fight.

Hadn't heard about this film, though I remember the announcement on VF when Ilaria received her diagnosis. Very interested to see the film when it is released. Ilaria has the same type and stage of cancer as my mother-in-law, who's in treatment now (and Mount Sinai was one of the hospitals which MIL went to for a consultation).
