I have only tried Zumba live classes but I have the Rockin' Body set and I prefer RB. I just don't like Zumba that much for some reason. I also tried the demo for the Zumba Kinect game and didn't like it. If they had something like RB live, I would totally love it but I find Zumba hard to follow in a live class and lacking instruction.

Don't forget, Rockin Body also has a louder music option!

I found the music pretty loud without that option!

Now that I think about it...as far as shirtless men go, I find Shaun T to be way more appealing (in many ways) than Beto.

Really, isn't this the number one thing to consider when you buy a workout?

It's all about motivation, right?

Another vote for rockin body...I reach for these more than zumba because it's fun! and I get a good workout (but not grueling)

I don't have Rockin' Body, but I like Shaun in Hip Hop Abs, so I imagine he's even better in RB.

I have the basic Transformation set and it's very good. I think Tanya, Gina, and Asuka do a wonderful job of breaking down the steps in the instructional DVD, and you can go right into the 20 minute Basic workout pretty quickly.

It probably depends on the style of music you like. Zumba was all new to me, so I found it to be great fun! And, usuable for when I was taking live classes.

The "cardio party" workout is closest to a "live" class, IIRC. I don't have the newer QVC extra's, but for all you're getting (music and additional new workouts) it's an AWESOME price. I haven't worked with the toning sticks much yet, but they're nice, too! I had an instructor who also taught the toning Zumba, but I just signed up for her regular Zumba class, so never used them.

I bought all of my music off of ebay, and it was expensive to buy all of the tunes! They're great, too and I would play the music when I was going to and from classes.

I think the Zumba is great fun, but I don't always use my workouts at home. I also prefer going to classes, when given the choice of the two. Since I didn't sign up the last time, I'm back to using my DVDs. The DVDs are nice for when you need a refresher, and have been away from Zumba for a while.

Rockin' Body, no question. I had a friend lend me her Zumba and it had nothing on Rockin Body. Zumba does have a lot of dvd variety, but nothing beats Shaun T's instruction. Rockin Body is fun, and Shaun T's really nice to look at. Not necessarily in that order though....

I personally think he ought to forget about Asylum and do more dance workouts... leaving now so I don't get slammed by the Insanity junkies...

I think the same. I hope he makes an advanced set of dance workouts in the future. I can dream.
