What is the most barbell weight you can use without a squat rack

What is the most weight you have used on a barbell to hoist it on your shoulders for squats without a squat rack? Thanks!

I think it was about fifty pounds, and I don’t even do that any more. It’s just not heavy enough, and not very comfortable even at that weight, so I moved to mostly one-legged exercises for heavy leg work.
Or I just do goblet squats with heavier kettlebell or dumbbells.

I can easily clean and press 85lbs so that's what I'd say.

And I use bumper weights so I can just drop them and let them bounce.

I used to use a 75 pound barbell but that was a couple of years ago. Since then I've had a couple of major surgeries and am afraid to try that again so I use a weighted vest and heavy dumbbells. I have no plans on getting a squat rack but wish I could lift heavier at home.
