Question about Baron's Core Power

Amazon.com is selling two different Baron Live! videos called Core Power--one pictures Baron on the cover in a class setting, and the second (just released last month), pictures Baron and a woman in a Warrior pose. Does anyone know whether this new version is just a re-packaged version of the same workout? I'd also be interested in any feedback about the workout itself, as I'm considering purchasing it.

Thanks,
Beth

Hi Toaster,

I think what you are looking at is the same workout repackaged. This is part of the live series which includes Soul of Strength, Core Power and Unlocking Athletic Power. Prior to this recent release all of these workouts were available on 3 separate VHS or were all on 1 DVD. He has now released these workouts on 3 separate DVDs. Not sure why he repackaged the VHS as well. If you want the DVDs I think the cheapest place to get them is deepdiscountdvd. BTW, they are all 3 excellent workouts! HTH!

Happy Birthday, Beth!!

I had heard the same story that Denise had, in that the 3 Live! practices were going to be repackaged. I like all three of the practices on the DVD, but UAP would be my favorite because of the hip openers. If you want to focus on ab strength, then you'd probably prefer Core Power. Have you listened to any of the clips on these? I mention that just because I know that some people don't care for the music/chanting.

Denise and Linda, thanks for your replies (and for the birthday wishes!). I would be getting the VHS version since I don't have a DVD player. Linda, I have viewed clips, and I don't mind the music--I already have Baron's Soul of Strength, which I like. I did check out UAP today and thought it looked good, but it seemed more like a shorter version of SoS to me, and yes, I am looking for something that focuses more on the abs.

Any other feedback about whether people like Core Power?

Toaster- since you already know that you like Baron, you like the music, and you wanted a practice focused on abs/core, then this would probably be a good one for you, but hopefully you'll get more feedback and opinions. Have a wonderful day-
