I think it is funny when they say this has been years in the making. just because boxing and weight workouts have been out for quite a long time. Just hit me in a funny way, it isn't like they are making anything groundbreaking here.

I have BBOD now but not renewing so won't be doing this program. Could be good but not worth the money of BBOD since I have only used it a few times during the year that I had it.

DVDs would be great but I know they won't have them.

It looks interesting but I don't do that many boxing workouts. I'll probably wait until they're on BOD next year.

I wonder if it will be choreographed to music? Or will music just be in the background...

Sweet! Right up my alley! I love boxing, I love weights and Joel was great in LiiFT. I'll be watching for it.

If that ... LIIFT4 has no music; they provide Spotify playlists for the workouts, but depending on your setup you may need a separate device, and if you don't have a paid Spotify subscription you'll get commercials. (I didn't love the playlists anyway, and they weren't choreographed, so I ended up using Pandora Pop Fitness on my phone - I have a Pandora subscription and it's cheaper than Spotify.)

Oh wow! That's a bummer. I had no idea LIIFT4 did not have music. Well...my interest factor for this release just dropped to zero!

Honestly, I have enough boxing/kickboxing and weight workouts to schedule this type of rotation without spending money.

After seeing this thread yesterday I went down a BBOD/Joel rabbit hole, as he was an unfamiliar instructor and LIIFT4 really sounds like the program I need right now. I discovered this Power Blast podcast interview from a few months ago. Apparently he has been boxing as his main form of fitness and as a hobby for a while, which could be why they say "years in the making."

The behind the scenes stuff re Les Mills was interesting too.

I was SO annoyed with that at first, but after I listened to some of their playlists I realized I like my music better, and now I look forward to the workouts partly because I get to pick the music.
