I really liked this version of Dirty 30. All the exercises flowed well and you could go a little heavier than the original workout.

Two of the "boys" got into a competition with the low squat hold - how low can you go! (Cupcake and Daniel). Lol, Donald said no thanks! Love him!

Day 6 - Live 21 Day Fix - Dirty 30:
Time: 32 minutes
Backgrounders: Same as Day 1
Rounds: 4 (each round repeated)
Music: None
Weights Used: 15 lbs., 12 lbs., 10 lbs., 8 lbs.

Round 1:
Alternating Side Lunge - 15 lbs.
Alternating Renegade Rows - 10 lbs.
Repeat

Round 2:
Sumo Squat into Upright Row - 10 lbs.
Chest Flye with a Double Toe Tap Down - 12 lbs.
Repeat

Round 3:
Squat with an Alternating Lateral Raise - 8 lbs.
Double Arm Kickback - 8 lbs.
Repeat

Round 4:
Weighted Side Bends - 15 lbs. (Autumn ran and got a 20 lb. for second set)
Side Plank Hip Drops (no weight)
Repeat

Bonus Round:
Low Squat Hold (no weights)

Kathy,
I'm enjoying your reviews! Thank you! If you were me, (struggling to be consistent intermediate exerciser) where would you start? 80 day obsession? 21 day fix? or a little obsessed? or 21 day fix dvds?
thanks
Liz

Thanks for posting, Kathy! Coincidentally I'm doing the original 21 Day Fix (on BBOD) and it annoys me that Autumn never says what weight anyone is using. It's nice to see weights for these exercises listed here. (I used 10s and 7s today.)

Hi Liz! Great, I always enjoy when other VFers post reviews. I would start with the original 21 Day Fix. Then if you like it and want to move up a little, do 21 Day Fix Extreme (still 30 minute workouts and there's a modifier if you need to follow her which I still do for less impact). After that, the new Live 21 Day Fix and Fix Extreme workouts will be out on BOD for all subscribers. You can do a round of each of those, unless you get burned out and need a break.

I would classify 80 Day Obsession as high intermediate/advanced. Only because Autumn keeps progressing with the weights and some of them are 58-60 minutes long. You will definitely be ready to give it a try after doing a few rounds of 21 Day Fix.

Laurajhawk - Yeah, she doesn't always say what she's using in the Live 21 Day Fix workouts but she tells you what she has lined up in front of her in the intro. I look to see what's missing and can figure out what she's using, lol. But about 80% of the time she says what weight she's using. You can go lighter or heavier depending on what works for you.

I will get to Day 4 Pilates Fix and Day 7 Yoga Fix tomorrow. I got up this morning and just didn't feel like doing them, so I did Cathe Live - Hearts on Fire.

I think you can always tell what you probably need the most because you avoid them, lol. Hence my avoidance of pilates and yoga.

Day 7 - Live 21 Day Fix - Yoga Fix:
Looks like a good 30 minute Yoga practice. I probably won't have time to list it out but you can be the judge when you try it on BOD on May 31, 2019.

Autumn changed up the exercises in this workout too. She went heavier and either did them all one side or added to the exercise.

I bought a set of 17.5 lb. dumbbells after doing 80DO so it was nice to be able to use them. Autumn also uses 12.5 lb. dumbbells but I just used my 12 lb. ones. She didn't call out her weights for most of this workout but I kind of figured it out by her into again. I think your best bet is to go by how you feel and what you normally use for those types of exercises. You'll find your own "sweet" spot.

Day 9 - Live 21 Day Fix - Dirty 30:
Time: 30 minutes
Backgrounders: Same as Day 1
Rounds: 4 (each round repeated)
Music: None
Weights Used: 17.5 lbs, 15 lbs., 12.5 lbs., 7.5 lbs.

Round 1:
Side Lunge (all right first round/all left second round) - 17.5 lbs.
Renegade Rows (30 seconds right/30 seconds left) - 12.5 lbs.
Repeat

Round 2:
Sumo Squat into Upright Row and up on to Toes - 12.5 lbs.
Chest Flye while Lowering Straight Legs - 15 lbs.
Repeat

Round 3:
Squat with a Double Lateral Raise - 7.5 lbs.
Tricep Kickback (right ,left, both, left, right, both) - 7.5 lbs.
Repeat

Round 4:
Weighted Windmills - 17.5 lbs. (one round on right, one round on left)
Side Plank with a Side Leg Lift (no weight) (one round on right, one round on left)
Repeat

Oh Kathy, Kathy, Kathy. I just HAD to read this thread. And like you did with 80DO, you are REALLY getting me interested in this series!!!!

I have never done the original 21 Day Fix so I may just jump into this one since I've already gone through 80DO with you.

Thank you again for all your comments and breakdowns!
