My favorites are the even numbered: 6, 8 and 10. (Don't have, nor want, 12.)

Just a suggestion, but why don't you stick with season 6, at least for a while. Lots of episodes to work through.

I am about half-way through Season 12 and am enjoying it. It doesn't seem too slow for me. I find the sound to be pretty uneven though, and sometimes have a hard time hearing Miranda over the music.

I am another one who really liked Season 8. I think I'll do it next.

It really helped me to do the streaming for a month. I previewed/did a lot of episodes and ended up with 10 because I liked the all standing, barre or floor format. You weren't having to change out a chair for a floor mat in the middle of the routine. It flows better. It also has some more challenging workouts I think. Certainly more than 11. I also really liked the scenery in 10-more beach and water views instead of jungle or pool.
All this to say you really should pay for a month of streaming to get the best idea of what you want.

That's what I'd suggest, too. Like 30 episodes. You can always record on your local PBS, also.

I've read back through this thread and have decided to just stick with Season 6 for now. No rush to get another season with 30 episodes already available to me.

I think part of my curiosity of other seasons is the idea that Miranda has added something amazing that isn't in previous seasons. But no one said anything to make me feel as though I'm "missing out". So I'm good working through S6 and blending in Karen Voight now and then.

She hasn't really. Add'l seasons offer *some* variations, many of which are slight, and beautiful new scenery. You'll be good with your 30 episodes for a long time.

I'm actually loving Season 6 these days. I forgot how many favorites I have from that season!

I wasn't aware that it was released on DVD, it has been available on eTV. Never received an email saying it was available to purchase. Amazon states currently unavailable.
