Even if this site isn't "safe", I'm not really sure what the risks are? I guess these bots could glean that I'm a middle aged woman from the midwest who's a Cathe fan. I'm not trying to be flippant, I just don't understand why I should be worried.

Two reasons I can think of why bots can be bad:
  1. Some bots can be used to take over users accounts. That may seem harmless at a site like this one, where no transactions are taking place. However, often users resue the same account name and password for multiple sites, including those where transactions DO take place (amazon, totalfitness, collage video, etc.
  2. Bots can be used to clog up the network and slow down traffic, making videofitness difficult to navigate.

I'm sure there are other bad bot reasons out there, but these are just the two that came to mind. We recently went over this at work.

Hi, all! Long time, no speak!! I haven't been able to post for 9 months. I did just pay again and Wendy DID reactivate me! I sent the money on 11/1 and she just reactivated me again today. I don't know why some people can still post even though their subscription is up and others can't. But, I thought people would want additional confirmation that she IS fixing subscription issues!! That's a great sign!!

My subscription did not renew after I paid it in July. I didn’t lose my avatar but I couldn’t change it and I was not shown as a vf supporter. I just recently noticed that I am a vf supporter again as of November 1, very strange.

I renewed my subscription and for a while it didn’t show me as a supporter or show my avatar. Still, this site is worth it to me and I know it doesn’t exist for free, so it wasn’t that big of a deal to me other than it made me concerned for the health of the site overall.

I also read on some thread that Wendy may have personal matters that were consuming her time and energy. Anyway, I just posted in another thread and notice that I, too, now have my avatar back.

I hope this means that maybe Wendy’s circumstances have changed to allow her to give more of her energy to VF or that she has some help.

I renewed my subscription for a year on 11/30 but my Avatar is still gone and I'm assuming my subscription didn't update. Does anyone know what I can do to resolve this?

Hi Paula, I was able to message Wendy from her profile, and she moved my subscription through. It took a couple of tries over a few weeks. Hope that helps!
