Gibbee and Vannie so good to hear from you both and hear about your workouts.
I’m impressed with both of you! Gibbee I’m glad you and Alex arrived home safely in the snow.

I have a slight sore throat on one side but I feel ok otherwise so I did a shorter, 40 ish minute treadmill workout. Cher, Peloton has treadmill boot camp workouts and they look wicked! I am saying no to that.

How are Covid shots going in everyone’s area? We are getting started but have a long way to go.

Stay safe everyone. Hope you are sleeping better Jbliff. Kareng

Workout Tuesday was Jessica Smith 10 Minute Happy Hiit Walk, Cathe BM2 Upper Body, and JS 10 Minute Bonus Stretch. Yesterday’s workout was Jenny Ford Walk Across America Rhode Island and from the Peleton App 20 Minute Yoga Flow Hips with Denis Morton.

Finally all evidence of Christmas is gone in my house.

Karen - I’m enjoying the workouts on the Peleton app. I just wish I had a bike or treadmill to use more of them. I do have a stationary bike (not a spin bike) so I may try a “scenic” ride some time. Lol on those Treadmill Bootcamp workouts....no thanks! They just announced that starting Monday anyone over 65 can get a vaccine. (Currently still only medical personal right now). Also any school employees, police, fire, grocery workers, etc. will be able to get there vaccine starting Monday too. I think I will feel a lot better when my parents get theirs.

Gibbee - Glad you got to go to Branson and see the show but wow, that drive home sounds awful.

Vannie - Good workouts!

Cher, so glad your parents can soon get their vaccine. Wonderful news. Can
Your sister get it too with her cancer history? And how is she doing?

Rest day for me. We are giving a decent number of Covid vaccines to our 65+ patients. We don’t have much vaccine but are getting more vials daily. Hope you all can get a vaccination soon if you desire one.

Night, kareng

7 minutes (from L. Holden 30-Day Qi Gong challenge day 24) R-AM 1st time

Wednesday was a rest day I guess. I just felt tired and sluggish and talked myself right out of a workout. Yesterday was LITE Body Weight & Bands thru back rows on the floor.

Karen - My mom called for appointments for their vaccine but of course the line was busy and by the time they got through, there were no appointments left for next week. They said call back next week. I can see how this is going to go. They are not doing them through any doctors office here either, only the counties. As for my sister, we haven’t heard anything yet about anyone who’s not working with the public or over 65 able to get it yet. One of the girls in her office tested positive so now the 5 other girls had to get tested. The results aren’t in yet but thank goodness my sister has been working from home.

Vannie - I find not skipping posting for to many days in a row helps me stay on track.....sometimes.

Hi all. Gosh it has been cold here today. Hasn’t gotten out of the 40s but with wind out of the North the wind chill has been in the mid 30s all day, pretty cold for us. Even though the marathon was canceled we are still training since we were so far in. We ran 14 miles this morning, run 90 seconds and walk 30. A hot bath felt good after that. We had layers on.

Cher we are vaccinating some people in our office, but the numbers are quite limited, about 10 shots most days. All dependent on how much vaccine we get. We got Moderna at first and now have Pfizer. The Pfizer has to be thawed at our main lab and then transported. It is all pretty complicated, not surprisingly. My DH Ben applied online and it was 10 days before he heard from them. But I am not blaming anyone, it’s just the way it is right now. So glad I got my shot.

Vannie what is CrossRope? I am so impressed with all you do.

Cher and Jbliff I am still really enjoying Peloton. One day I will try a Tread Boot Camp.

Karen, Crossrope is a jump rope app. They have challenges and they also have solo workouts I think 3 times a week. I have the free version of the app so I don't have access to all the challenges or some have a limited time till they go premium but I think all the daily workouts are available with the free version. I enjoy jumping rope I just hope it doesn't make my already large calves even bigger! Thanks for the compliment. Unfortunately my fitness life seems to be feast or famine! I can't seem to keep it together for more than a few days at a time. I feel like I have some momentum going now though, plus I think tracking my food is motivating me to burn more calories!

Covid--Honestly I have no idea what the situation is here. I don't watch the news and haven't kept up with the health dept website. I do know bars and restaurants are supposed to be able to open again tmrw at 50% capacity. They had closed down again Dec 18.

Peleton--Do you guys know if you can still do the free trial on a phone without entering credit card info? A while back they had a free 3 month trial that was like that but if you used it on a computer you had to enter CC info (I think that's how someone said). Anyway, I was tempted to try it then but never did.

I haven't been running bc of glute pain but I realized today that jumping doesn't hurt (except for jump squats) so I wonder if it's more the propulsion that's still hurting when I jog across the street (although it didn't hurt yesterday). I might try a run on the treadmill to see if it feels different. I want to get back to running!
