http://smile.amazon.com/Essential-Oi...l+oil+diffuser I haven't used it yet, but I LOVE how it looks like a stone (comes in black or white), and she said it is very quiet and lasts a long time; she also said that she likes it better than the diffuser she got from Essential Living. I have a diffuser at home in my exercise room, and I am just starting to experiment with different oils. I mainly use it during yoga; I honestly never thought of having it provide extra energy for cardio, although I could use some, so that's not a bad idea! I agree that it's more about how the scents make you feel than anything else.

Interesting thread ... I need a humidifier and while looking at the links, I found and purchased this one: humidifier and oil diffuser. We'll all have to compare notes as to what oils we're using!
