I posted my thoughts on workout 1 on my blog -
http://couchtokettlebells.blogspot.c...itness-is.html

What I said -
Mark De Grasse the owner and editor of My Mad Methods magazine leads you through the instructionals and workouts on this dvd system. He has a great personality and gives tips throughout the exercises.

I haven't looked over the instructionals yet since I am not a beginner to kettlebells (I plan on reviewing them to strengthen my knowledge and improve my form).

I did workout 1 this morning. Run time 27 minutes with warmup. There is no cooldown so allow enough time at the end to stretch.

All the workouts have the same joint mobility and bodyweight exercises to warmup your body and get you ready to do the workout. It runs about 5 minutes.

This workout has a beginner and moderate exercise. I followed Mark on the moderate variation. I used my 12kg (26lb kettlebell) for this workout. I felt that was a good weight to get the feel for the workout.

The workout itself has 6 sets, 2 exercises per set at 4x 30 second work / 15 second rest with a 30 second rest between sets. There are conditioning and core sets. Each set has 1 kettlebell exercise and 1 bodyweight exercise.

Conditioning set-
Cleans
Extension Situps

Conditioning set-
Figure 8 variation
Plank variations

Conditioning set-
Push Press or Jerk
Pushup alternating Ts

Conditioning set-
Row variations
Unweighted lunge variations

Core set -
Around the body with the kettlebell
Hand walkout

Conditioning set -
1 leg deadlift (beginner) 1 hand swing (moderate)
Deck Squats

I loved the workout and found it flew by and would be absolutely fantastic for beginners and as an high intermediate to advanced exerciser I found it challenging and had many of my favorite moves that to me are very effective to get the results I have achieved with kettlebell and bodyweight training.

I just ordered it although I'm not sure why seeing as how I still have virgin workouts to do but I just couldn't seem to resist. It sounds great!

I'm interested, if it goes on sale down the road (since I missed the pre-sale price!)
