Excellent on the chair sub! Like I always say, with VFrs where there is a will, there is a WAY! I always stress to clients that it simply does not require expensive equipment, there are SO many ways to skin the fitness cat! (don't like the expression skinning a kitty though!)

i'm 5'2" and have short arms. facing the barre, you get a "row" type action going when you do pull-ups that way.

try both sitting positions, w/legs straight and legs bent and tell us what happens.
