Way to go, everyone!

I totally blew the last two days. We'll call them unexpected rest days...

On the Everyday check-in that would be a couple of TURDs - Totally Unexpected Rest Days. Be careful. Three in arrow counts as a Herd of TURDs.

Sometimes unavoidable or necessary, though. Unexpected rest day is a better mind frame than I blew it. Good to give yourself a bit of space when you've been doing so well on a personal goal.

April 10-the power walk from Jessica's Walk off Belly Flat
April 11-Tracie Long's Break Through
April 12-2-Week Turnaround Cardio, to stretch out I did Core and the Rest premix from Taste

Today I did Kelly Coffey's Pump and a 15 minute Jessica Smith Walk

Tangerine: Where are you from? I have to have the fan full blast on me when I workout, even in the early morning. As Sherry said, Taste is a Sara Ivanhoe yoga dvd, short sections of yoga. I think I use the Rest premix the most which really helps me sleep better.

Allison: Wow, so cute!

After 3 unplanned rest days in a row, I'm back in the saddle.
Tried the first workout from 3 Week Yoga Retreat (Core 1)...not sure if it's my cuppa yet. I'll try the stretch one before making a call on the set.

I will join you guys! The beginning of the month was hit-or-miss but I've recently been consistent. I think I want to mostly do some classic Firms. For cardio (always hard for me, I hate cardio!) I've been getting a kick out of Richard Simmons. I guess I need the silliness and I do work up some sweat while keeping it low impact, which is necessary for me.

APRIL
11 - Karen Voight's Your Personal Best (aka Elle MacPherson's The Body)
12 - Richard Simmons' Disco Sweat
13 - Firm Vol 1
14 - Richard Simmons' Party Off the Pounds
15 - Firm Vol 2
16 - Natalie Cassidy's Then & Now (w/u, Sweat, Punch)
17 - Woke w/a stiff neck, arthritic. I rested and stretched.
18 - Denise Austin Sizzler
19 - Firm Vol 1
20 - rest day (too busy/tired/anxious to work out)
21 - Firm BSS Cardio Sculpt
22 - Leslie Sansone 2 Mile Walk
23 - Leslie Sansone 20min Fast Walk
24 -

Party off the Pounds is one of my favorites! It replaced Disco Sweat which used to be my favorite of his. I have Boogie down the Pounds and Sweatin to the Oldies 1,2 &3 still waiting to be tried. I'ts easy to pick up light hand weights and amp his workouts up even more.

Sweat dripping while have fun - working out with Richard is always fun.

Glad to have you join us, Gina!

After my workout today, I added those firewalker side steps mentioned in another thread. 50 total and I felt the burn! I'll have to add these regularly!

Yes, surprisingly and so fun! I have:
-Sweatin' to the Oldies 3
-Sweat & Shout
-Disco Sweat
-Sweatin' to the Oldies 5
-Party Off the Pounds
-Boogie Down the Pounds (these titles, omg)

I remember getting rid of SttO 1 and 2 long ago, they were slower I think and I wasn't so crazy about the songs. But who knows? I might really like them now. They're all a rather hilarious way to do some cardio work and his cuing is pathetic but I don't care, I dance anyway and I *love* his corny enthusiasm!

There are a few of his workouts that never made it to DVD; I wonder if they're on Youtube? ETA - Yes, I found Dance Your Pants Off! and Groovin' in the House, along with some others. Cool!

I want to try Groovin in the House - it looks neat. He's also been posting short 10 minute workouts on his own channel, excerpts from STTOs I think.

April 12 - Unexpected rest day
April 13 - Richard Simmons 60s Blast Off + Leslie Sansone 2 mile walkaerobics
April 14 - Live Step Workout with Jenny Ford - this one is tough, I loved it! I had risers on my step though. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GGHB1p040Ak
April 15 - I had a lot of neck and shoulder tension, I had to do a stretch. I found this one on YT and really liked it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R9LnAebTl8U&t=1094s
