Does anyone else buy back up DVDs?

I think I’ve only done it twice, but I bought a second copy of Kathy Smith’s March to a Fitness and the YOUv2 workout set. They are two of my most used workouts and I worry if something happens to them I may not be able to find another copy.

Yes, but only for a few absolute favorites

Only for Denise Beatty's Fitness Fix Intermediate -- my (slightly wonky) knees love her for her on-demand PT-style help

I haven’t done it, but I was VERY tempted to buy a second set of Blissology when they were selling at a good price.

On purpose, you mean?

Yes, but not very often. My tastes change and unless something is truly a classic 'comfort food' type thing for me, I don't bother.

Just recently bought a backup of Callanetics AM/PM because I didn't realize how much I liked it. My copy went missing for a long time and I was worried it wouldn't be available the next time I went looking to buy.
Naturally my original copy showed up not long after the backup arrived. Such is life.

yes, particularly if I see a workout listed on Mary's site as "going going gone"
I bought another copy of Cathe's High Step Circuit when I saw it there and it does not appear on Cathe's site anymore. I have done that with the Schwinn cycle workout too. I think that one is out of print as well.

guffawed at this.

i intentionally bought a few copies of a select few OOP workouts - the original Si6 that has the longer Start It Up workout, and several copies of Yoga Zone Yoga for Conditioning and Stress Release.

Yes accidentally when thrifting a few times because the covers were different but I have re donated them.

On purpose three of Kathy Smith.
Project You Circuit which I love and worry that I cant find again.
Kathy Smith Power Step workout that uses the bouncy step and way back then the DVD was hard to find but isn’t now. I paid a lot for it.
Recently her combo DVD of Walk and Rejuvenation Stretch.

Scott Cole Gentle Yoga Stretch for DH which he connects with and uses a couple of times a week. Sometimes I join in for the stretch.
