Thumbs up Mike Mahler: The Kettlebell Solution for Fat Loss and Mental Toughness

The Kettlebell Solution for Fat Loss and Mental Toughness

You can purchse the DVD from:
Mike Mahler
Lifeline USA

This is an instructional DVD. It is only Mike in the desert. He is your personal trainer.

You will need two kettlebells for this workout.

Mike refers to this as High Frequency Training (HFT)

The Pillars are broke down like :
Presses -A1
Pulls -A-2
Quads - B-1
Hamstrings - B-2
Midsection- C-1 and C-2
Finisher-intermediate and advanced workouts

Exercises
Presses- A1

Double Ballistic Bent-over Row
Alternating Bent-over Row
Alternating Renegade Row

Quads-B1

Hamstrings- B2
Double Swing
Double Clean

Midsection C1 and C2
Side Bend
Slow and controlled Sit-up
Lifeline Ab Wheel Roll out
Double Overhead Walks

Finisher
Hindu Squat
Jumper Squat
Explosive Push-ups

The DVD comes with a guide which contains beginner, intermediate and advanced workouts.
He states to do:
A-1 and A-2 in antagonistic fashion.
b-1 and b-2 in antagonistic fashion.
C-1 and C-2 in antagonistic fashion.
(I'm guessing this is push/pull. Please someone correct me if I'm wrong.)

This is an example of how the workout flows:

3 sets 6 reps- work your way up to 12 reps
One minute break between each set
one exercise from a A-1
one exercise of from A-2

3x8 goal is to work your way up to 15
One minute break between each set
one exercise from B-1
one exercise from B-2

One minute break between each set
C-1: Power Wheel Roll Out 3x6
C-2: Slow and controlled Sit-up 3x10 (4 seconds up and down)

There is no music.
It is shot outside in the desert.
It really looks like a one camera shoot but there may be two.
It is just him showing you the exercise and breaking it down for you.
He gives some good form pointers.
He talks a lot. Maybe too much for some people.
He has a strange sense of humor.

Double kettlebell work is kind of hard but it's a lot of fun.
Yes I give it a thumbs up.
