That's good to know. Thanks for this info. I've never had any problems with Amazon's "on demand" dvds. I've had several for over 5 years and they all play fine but it's always nice to know about a guarantee.

old thread resurrected:

Linda has varying endurance series on her site. she has a 70, 80, 90, 100, 110, 120.

i'm a feel good junkie and wanted a good bridge to tonique. are they pretty much the same, just lower or higher reps/duration per set? what are your favorites from this style?

I really like all the Endurance workouts, and vary them depending on the amount of time that I have. For example, the 70 are 70 seconds of work with 10 seconds of rest and those are around 35-39 minutes long. Then the 120 seconds of work/10 seconds of rest are around 45-50 minutes long. The sets are great to mix and match, too. There are some similar Tonique-like moves throughout the sets, but they have a nice variety, too. I think all the 70, 80 and 90 are free on You Tube. The 100, 110 and 120 are available individually or as a set of all three on DVD. The toughest ones for me are the Firm and Burn workout from Endurance 110 and the 1+2=3 from Endurance 120. Some others of Linda's that you might enjoy are the Energy Flow Functional and Dynamic Flow Lengthen; both are free You Tube workouts. I'd put both of those in the "feel good" category.

The Sculpt, Tone and Chisel set is also great preparation for Tonique. Some of the workouts contain a scaled-back version of Sylwia’s infamous breakdance moves. After doing these workouts and the Endurance series, I was amazed by how much Tonique I could actually do.

To piggy-back on Donatella and Sweetsal, I think Linda’s Shape It series is similar too but that has a bosu workout in there (that I really liked). I find Shape it total body pretty tough because Linda doesn’t switch sides. Also, bodyweight basics is a good intro to these workouts. The moves are pretty simple and the intervals aren’t as long. I LOVE Stretch Sculpt from Basics. It’s a great pairing with a half an hour of cardio or to follow another Barlates. It really works and stretches me. All of these are on you tube so you can try before you buy.
