I got an email from Rodale about this new release, and came here to see it anyone was talking about it

It mentioned Socanomics: A high-energy workout fusing soca dance, dancehall, and West African dance with dynamic aerobic movement, set to the sweet sounds and upbeat tempos of Caribbean music; which made me think of Socacize which I have been wanting to try for so long. It looks good to me, but a bit pricey ($28.95 plus $6.99 shipping / CDN$38.95 plus $13.99 GST), for what you get (three 30 minutes workout: Dance Cardio, Dance Strength & Total-Body Toning, and two 10 minutes bonus workouts: Abs & Yoga.), wish they included two or three extra cardio workouts, as they look fun, and I don't have a soca based dance program. The strength workout looks good too and use some nice size dumbbells. I might wait for the price to drop a bit, but I'm def. interested on this one.

You're welcome T2B! I'm mostly sure the price will drop at some point. I got a great deal with All in 18 a while back (free shipping and towel included ). They took the towel off now, but I see the price is the same, you get a little more content on that one for less $ (well at least in Canadian dollars).

ETA again: I just noticed they changed the background music of the promo video, before it was Dancehall (I think), I hope it doesn't mean the music in the entire program has changed as well

The strength workouts are of primary interest to me. From the clips of Selena's exercise demonstrations (unrelated to the Women's Health DVD), I think I would really like her as an instructor. For the nearly 2 hours of content, and by utilizing the Rodale Store CUSTOMER25 discount code, I've about justified the purchase. A nudge from a satisfied customer wouldn't hurt.

I just left there. It is now $24.95 and they flashed a sign offering free shipping. I could not find a place to enter a discount code.

Yeah, they have set up so you can order it thru a cart at the Rodale Store and you're able to use the promotional code; however, the original price is higher. Or there's an optional webpage where you can order it for $24.95 and free shipping if you pay up front. I just ordered it using the $24.95 + free shipping. I saved .30 cents by doing it that way.

I hope I like it.
