What's your favorite Gilad?

I got an email from him today which got me going down the worm hole of his website and watching several youtube clips.

Does anyone have a favorite series? or get great results from him?
thanks

Hi,

i have a few sets and downloads and really enjoy them all - the scenery is so nice so they make good workouts for the winter time. I like the more recent TV series workouts - 30th anniversary and total body sculpt a lot.

I think the set that I get the most use out of is the Quick Fit set- the workouts are on the shorter side so they are easier for me to fit in than his hour long programs.

I haven't stuck with anything for long enough to determine results, but I think you could get good results from his programs - they also seem pretty safe and he focuses on form and functional movements.

One day I really need to do a Gilad focused rotation.

If you go to https://www.youtube.com/user/DiscoveryHealth/videos and search for Body Challenge 2008 Gilad, you can find all the Express Workouts. I hope and presume these are shared with his permission.
The workout schedule is on his site: https://www.bodiesinmotionwithgilad....rt-1-18-08.pdf
There may be a playlist of the complete set.
Hope this helps!

Aha. I found one: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?lis...FD27DB7816B5E8

I like all three of these, but in order of favorites:

Step & Tone
Sculpt & Tone
Men's Arms of Steel (VHS only but can be found on YouTube)

You can't go wrong with Gilad!

I think I like the Express set the best. But let's be honest...Gilad is one of those instructors that has a specific repertoire of moves (like Leslie). So the outfits may change and the scenery might change, but you're going to get a lot of repeat/similarities between workouts.

Quick Fit system
Step and Tone - not too many low impact step workouts that have use weights
Sculpt and Tone - straight forward weight lifting video.

i like the rest of his old stuff too.

his cuts and curves is the most difficult band workout i have ever done. i don't reach for it too often!

Yes! This is true - I forgot about the Express Set. I like that one, too. And the rotation that he put out with it is good - I couldn't follow it for the 8 weeks or so, but I could do it for a couple of weeks - especially if I'm busy - the workouts on the rotation are 20-30 min in length.

I would think either his Lord of the Abs Series or the 3 video set that has Cuts & Curves --- Body Sculpt series???

I picked up Cuts and Curves months ago at a thrift store but have never done it because I was doing a rotation. Now that I'm done with the rotation I'll give it a try. Your comment about it being a very difficult band workout has me a little apprehensive, though!
