Classical music experts, I need your help...

Does anybody know the name of the pretty final stretch song used in The Firm's Fat Blaster (the stretch where Nancy uses the short box and dowel)? I've often heard the same song on other TV shows and commercials. Just recently I heard it on an episode of "Gunsmoke." (Side note: I wasn't watching it, but my mom and dad were.)

ETA: Never mind, I did research and found it. Luigi Boccherini's Minuetto. You learn something new every day!

Garrie, all 3 of my kids learned to play Minuet by Boccherini on violin. Thanks for posting--that brought back good memories of their childhood for me.

how did you figure that out, especially because it's instrumental?

i heard there's an app that you can download on your phone called SoundHound where you let your phone hear the tune and it will identify it.

i can usually write down lyrics and then google the lyrics, but for instrumental music is another story.

I Google searched "classical music in commercials" and found this article:

This is an informative thread. The only thing I know about classical music I learned from Bugs Bunny cartoons (Kill da wabbit! Kill da wabbit!!).

I once bought one of those 'most relaxing music ever' cds for help falling asleep. Hilariously enough, it was loaded with classical music snippets that my imagination has tied to the Bugs Bunny cartoons a little too closely.
Couldn't relax or sleep because I was too busy laughing at all the cartoons I suddenly remembered.
