My day (last couple weeks, more like) was weird and got away from me and I haven't worked out yet. I will get my yoga and meditation in though.

My grandma's Christmas letter came today and seeing in print about losing my mom and seeing her pictures hit me hard. I have had a hard time letting go and crying but that did it for sure. And I had been thinking about and missing my mother-in-law all day anyway and my mom and it was hard but it was good to cry.

Day 2 - 12.22.2020:
MFML - Afternoon Yoga Boost - Rahkee Jasani

Ilde - No rules here - so post away. Scott Cole is such a sweetie - I need to pull out one of his DVD's soon.

Anita - That bath sounded amazing. Like Beth, I tend to be a shower girl, but have been contemplating doing a hot Epsom salt foot soak in the evenings and I purchased some eucalyptus and lavender Epsom salts from Whole Foods a couple of months back. Also - that Clive practice is Wrist Free Flow, not Hands Free Flow.

Vantreesta - ((Big hug)). Losing your mom is hard....I think of mine every single day.

Waves to all.

Great core work; attemptable for me as a beginner. Some movements were unique & needed a lot of cues, but too much talking made my brain hurt ...

Re Baths & Foot Soaks: During the pandemic I've been studying herbalism. (Well, I've completed my first formal course, so I think I can now say I'm a herbalist ) Don't underestimate the value of a foot soak, you don't need to take a full bath to get the beneficial properties of herbs, plants, & salts. Tests have shown that if you rub raw garlic on the soles of your feet, within a few minutes you'll have garlic-breath! Your body easily absorbs plant properties through your feet. This inspires me that maybe I'll try various foot soaks throughout this Sadhana, such as relaxing ones, invigorating ones, etc. and get more experience.

Me too, Donna! I am planning on taking next week off for a badly needed reset,

Thank you for the warm welcome!

Anita, that sounds like a great pastime for the pandemic!

Mary, Merry Christmas!

I did do yoga again yesterday and probably will today, which means so far, I am continuing with my unintentional early sadhana start.

Day 2: I did Barbara Benagh's passive neck sequence on Yoga for Stress Relief before I went to bed. Barbara's voice is very soothing and the practice is very relaxing. Windy and snowy here today..maybe a good day to do some Qi Gong.

Anita Your info on foot baths and how we absorb properties through the feet are very interesting. My feet are telling me a foot bath would be a good thing. I don't have much in the way of herbs but I've got apple cider vinegar on hand and will give that a go.
