Susan - I would also like to thank you for all you do. The toll the pandemic has taken on us is nothing compared to health care workers. Thank you and your co-workers. And any time you want to rant, feel free. It's the internet and we can skip over it if we want and you get to vent. Not a problem!
We've been doing primarily yard work in prep for the get together, but I also have a vegetable garden that we expanded after we retired. We have 2 4X12' beds and some more on the side yard that includes my raspberry patch. We also have a few blueberry bushes, but they did not produce last year. I grow mostly typical stuff: tomatoes ( several varieties that change each year), zucchini, green beans, arugula, cucumbers, peppers and eggplant. I usually try at least one new plant each year, not always successful. Last year we grew spaghetti squash very successfully, but realized we are not big fans.
Same with Swiss chard, it grew like crazy, but we weren't crazy about it. So far I have snow peas started, but need to wait a few weeks to plant anything else. I will be trying spinach and carrots this year.
Helen - how long until buddy's workout area is ready, or is that an unkown?
Pam - good to see you back! Canada seems to have more restrictions than we do, which is probably good.
Cleda - running and riding and rowing!
