vitamix to go

Has anyone seen the new Vitamix? I guess they didn't like the competition from NutriBullet and Magic Bullet but at this price, I don't think the latter two have anything to worry about.

Thank you, you just found my next birthday present! I so want this! I was considering a regular Vitamix but they are just so big. And since I'm really mostly interested in making green smoothies, this is perfect.

I didn't see the price. I have a NutriBullet and it is fine for making smoothies. If that is all you want to do then just get a bullet.

Yes, I also think it's too expensive. It's more than I paid for my 48 oz Vitamix!!!

$409! Are they out of their minds?! That is more expensive than the traditional Vitamix. There are too many decent options out there for making smoothies at much better prices. I will stick with my NutriBullet. I think NutriBullet might have a new upgraded model out also.

I don't think that price wise it is any different than the other Vitamixes. It is $10 more than the classic series but much smaller, you get 2 containers and the containers are dishwasher safe. The only way to get one cheaper would be refurbished.

I want this one too but the price is too steep. I already own the regular one.
If they just make a single-serve container that I can use with my regular one, then I'll buy that one for sure.

The motor isn't as strong as on the regular machines, so that does make the price point look high to me, too. I'm sure people will start posting videos comparing its performance to the traditional machines.

Is the original VitaMix really as good as it's reputation? Karjoy
