Are there any steps you’d like to see more of in workouts!

When I was doing Jessica’s 4-Mile Power Walk today I got to thinking that you don’t see hamstring curls done with the feet together very often, although I know I could do them on my own. In one mile she also does a step where she moves forward doing alternating kicks and then moves backwards doing side taps and then she repeats it just one time. I always wonder why she gives up on it so quickly. Are there any steps you like but don’t see much of in your workouts?

Yes, combo moves that I am seeing on youtube. They take the harder exercise down and amp up the easier one. It isn't one specific move. I also like low impact moves that move your body up and down as that gets the heart rate up more than some others.

Grapevines.

I did some in a workout recently and realized I missed them!

I am always so happy to see grapevines and hamstring curls make appearances in workouts!

Ooooh, I forgot about ponies. I love those, and you’re right, they don’t show up in workouts too often. I sometimes do those during a really hard workout when I need to modify the drill or impact level. I think they’re super fun!

Cathe Live Cardio Party Play Date #297 was a super fun hi/lo (mainly low impact but very easy to modify up or down). It’s 38 minutes long so great for a time crunched day or as an add on to another workout.

It has a lot of fun old school moves mixed with new ones. The intensity is more steady state versus HIIT.
