Just wanted to say that I tried the Beginner DVD and wrote a review today; it's at the bottom of the New Reviews page:

Thanks, Beth. Great review. Please let us know if you post a review of the intermediate workout.

Thanks!

I agree!!

I was glad to see that Beth wrote that because there was no music it was like a personal training session. That's how I felt about it, too.

Nat, I actually plagiarized YOU a bit on that one since I felt the same way!

Susan, I plan to try the Intermediate today and the Advanced hopefully later this week, so I'll be writing reviews of both of them as well within the next few weeks.

Thanks for the reviews! I bought the Intermediate and Advanced and can't wait to try them- in small bursts, to start with.

Well, I tried the Intermediate DVD last night. I was a little worried that it wouldn't be challenging enough since I found the Beginner pretty easy, but boy, was I wrong! I think there is a big gap in difficultly level between Beginner and Intermediate--in fact, if you think you're in the middle, I would recommend the Beginner, as there are plenty of options for modifying this one up.

Anyway, for the Intermediate, I did the full upper and lower body portions; I haven't yet tried the balance warm-up or core segments. I was in awe of Denise, who does most of the exercises standing on the wobble disk--they were tough enough for me without this! You have option to use tubing or weights; I enjoyed the former as a change of pace, and I'm feeling pleasantly sore today.

How large is the balance disc that is used in the DVD's?

Is it this one:

or this one?

Thanks in advance.

Michele, I think it's closer to the second disk since Denise stands on it with both feet.

I did the intermediate core--30 minutes!--on Wednesday, and I am STILL sore from it today! Anyone who says they never get abs DOMS should try this...I also did the 35-Minute Fix and the Plyometrics from the advanced ("Sports Conditioning") yesterday, so I'm really more sore all over today.
