Anyone had luck using yoga for stress relief SI joint segment?

Hello ladies....

Anyone seen improvement on the SI joint by using this segment?

My SI joint is hurting and I remember doing this segment years ago. I need to try it again.

Any feedback is greatly appreciated!

I always turn to this one when my SI gets cranky (long-term issue that flares up on me occasionally). It helps *a lot.*

I sometimes wonder if I'd have even fewer flares if I did this one more regularly, but unless I'm hurting, I rarely make time for 35 minutes worth of this kind of work.

What would you attempt to do if you knew you could not fail?

Absolutely. My SI joint is a real problem area for me. I find that if I do this regularly, I'm much less likely to get a flare-up, but even if I just do it when I'm experiencing pain, I can get significant relief.

Thanks for your reply.... I was going to do this one last night but my DH was grading papers in the living room and that's where I workout..... tonight it is....

I remember this felt good when i did it (a couple of times years ago!)....but I didn't have any SI issues then!

I definitely use this when I have hip pain of any kind, but especially SI issues. One year I hurt myself doing Slim Series, and I was so thankful for Barbara's workout!

I just finished this practice and I feel so much loser.... wow I didn't realized how BAD I was until I couldn't do the down dog with straight legs OUCH... my SI joint was screaming! That's why Barbara had us do it with bent legs!

I hope that by doing some PT exercises in the morning and this yoga + viniyoga at night I get well soon!!!

The SI section of this DVD is wonderful. I was using it often when my hip would hurt. It is one of the few yoga videos that I like.

I should probably do it every day, but then I'd get bored.

I hope you feel better soon!
