Talk about concise! You nailed it. I know the importance of strength training. I was even telling a 20-something colleague that I think as we get older, strength training might be more important than cardio. I bike ride in the summer and it's important to keep up with weights in the off-season. But, I think I like cardio more. It's the
movement. I never really thought about it. It just feels good to move.
I think cardio is also easier. Just put on some sneakers (or not) and move. That being said, I do like fusion-y workouts, I use hand weights when walking with Leslie, and try to do Pilates almost every day.
