Weights all the way.
I don't mind fusion and whole body cardio styles (prob my favorites) or short Jessica stuff but most standard cardio is a clench-my-teeth-and-get-on-with-it affair. Even if afterward I realize I've enjoyed myself.

Definitely, weight training has become my preference as far as which dvds to reach for.

Thumbs up Weight

I do do both. I am aware I need both of them to meet an overall well being goal.
Weight training is what I love
Because I get well more long term benefit for my health and well being from weight training than from cardio. I get more fun from weight or a combination of both

That's like making me pick between chocolate and coffee. It really depends on the day. Even better when my cardio has a strength component and my strength has some cardio.

Talk about concise! You nailed it. I know the importance of strength training. I was even telling a 20-something colleague that I think as we get older, strength training might be more important than cardio. I bike ride in the summer and it's important to keep up with weights in the off-season. But, I think I like cardio more. It's the movement. I never really thought about it. It just feels good to move.

I think cardio is also easier. Just put on some sneakers (or not) and move. That being said, I do like fusion-y workouts, I use hand weights when walking with Leslie, and try to do Pilates almost every day.

This sounds like me, too, right down to the coffee/chocolate decision (have both).

Weights. I have to psych myself up for a good strength session, but I get a better endorphin rush when I've conquered my weights work.

I like cardio just fine but I love weights.

After years of long-distance running and high-impact aerobics, I trashed my knees. Now, the only cardio I do is walking and riding my bike.

At this stage of life (over 60) I get the most bang for my fitness buck doing strength training (with weights and with body weight), plus yoga/stretching.

I enjoy both, but I give more priority to weight training, and I feel like a real badas* when I get to up my weights, I love weight training, but also love fun cardio.
