Just read Broadway star Nick Cordero passed away after battling Covid-19 for so long. He was only 41 years old and has a one year old son. Prayers to his wife, Amanda, and his son, Elvis.

I was so hoping he would beat this. He has had a really hard time of it. Just further annoys me when people say this is like the flu. RIP Nick. Far, far too young.

I just read that they had to amputate his leg due to COVID complications.

I have a lot of comments I'd like to make but won't go there.

This is so heartbreaking. He was way too young!

I'm so sad. A beloved favorite of mine, Charlie Daniels passed away today of a stroke. He was 83.

That is very sad! And it’s a stark reminder of how serious this virus can be.

One of my cousins introduced me to his music in the late 1970s or early 1980s. Lots of good memories tied to that time period in my life.
