Probably. Sad that aggressive politics has to enter our beautiful fitness world. I think I'll pass on these workouts. I have more than enough to keep me busy!

It was deleted. I did contact Kelly to ask her to ask the supporter who had placed a radar screen on my name in a response to me with the caption Troll Alert circling on it, to at least remove that picture. The others names and things she posted were also galling, that was the last straw. Anyway, Kelly decided deleting the whole ugly thread was easier so poof! it was gone.

I was but a child of twelve when I was a soloist in a small ballet company. We did performances. I remember one gentleman, he might of been gay. But no one cared about his personal life. It was so hard to find male dancers and they weren't paid very much. The dancers religion, politics, none of it mattered. We all just worked towards the performances. I guess to me, Kelly is a good instructor. I don't care about her personal life.

Mary, I understand what you are saying but when the personal life bleeds over into the professional life it matters to me and I see a distinct difference between the situation you mentioned and the one we are kind of discussing. As a customer I don’t want to know what an instructor believes about social, political, or religious issues and IMHO the beliefs should not be overtly and combatively expressed on a FB page that is intended to be a professional forum. It’s okay if you and others don’t feel the same way. We’re all entitled to our opinions and express it with our purchase decisions.

Mary, for the most part I don't care about an instructor's personal life either. But when an instructor hits upon an issue that means enough to me, I don't want to spend my workout time with them. My workout time is my way to release stress. I just wish instructors would just not mention it, then I could enjoy their workouts .

I have to say, so far no instructor has said anything yet (that I know of) to make me not want to work out with them. But the year is only halfway over lol!
