Today so far:
YT Lucy Wyndham-Read - 7 Day Challenge to Burn Fat - 7 Minute Fat Burning Work-out - Arm/Abs/Thigh Toning (she posted this one to YT 8.8.2019). I'm thinking I might try doing this 7 consecutive days just to see how my body feels. I'll need to pop on some shoes if I'm going to do all of the higher intensity options.
Going to do something else later - debating over whether to do a Holden class or something from MFML.
I most definitely get the Saturday Ditz of the Day Award (a dubious honor, to be sure
). I was dressed to go to my Saturday afternoon yoga class and was getting my rings out of the jewelry box to put on and dropped one of the rings. I just knew it had rolled up under the dresser after bouncing off my foot, but no amount of shining the flashlight or reaching into the dark abyss with my hand turned up my ring. My cat occasionally likes to hide in the corner just to the side of the dresser (the BOSU is propped up there, he sometimes snoozes in the space between the BOSU and the wall), so I felt compelled to find the ring in case he decided to veg out over there while I was gone. By the time I found the ring - in my cat's hiding place - I wasn't able to make it to class on time.
I was bummed, as we were having a sub that I like and hadn't seen on the schedule in a while.
Welcome,
Laura. No rules here - post when it works for you. We do a bit of everything and enjoy hearing what others are doing. I'm probably one of the last 5 people on the planet who never did FB or Twitter.
Gilad's Bodies in Motion was my gateway to vidiocy back in the 80's.
Pat - I'd be happy to send you some humidity if you're missing it.
It's interesting how our yoga teachers evolve over the years. My Svaroopa instructor was 100% Svaroopa and now I don't see that she teaches Svaroopa at all. She started taking Anusara/Anusara-Inspired training the last time I spoke with her - before the Anusara "thing" happened. Her studio isn't convenient for me to get to with any degree of regularity, so I've lost touch.
Margot - Hopefully you didn't have to go out in the weather - sounded like a good day to study and enjoy a cup of hot tea. Thanks for mentioning Gilad on YT - I'll have to check that out.
Jackie - Hope your friend's daughter is on the mend.
Pam - Enjoy your travels. Hope the weather improves quickly. Safe travels to DS2.
