Quick check-in today - I did get to yoga last night and it was lovely. The theme was "sthiram sukham asanam" and there were some fun transitions, like going back and forth between modified side plank and wild thing on the breath. I feel much better now! This morning I did Cathe's LITE Stacked Sets Lower - I didn't want to do the LIIFT4 all-HIIT legs.

A pop in for me today. I taught a class last night. I need to take a few days and do some different workouts.

I'll be back later.

Today:
YT - YoQi - Daily Energy Routine - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nmmNWj9YtAw

Here's a pretty cool singing bowl chakra meditation: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-ar9vsmFhJU . I'm going to try this one with headphones.

Busy day starting with an 8:30 meeting. Hoping to get in some qi gong before bed. I missed LWR today!

Jackie - Hope you find some good cross-training options to do over the next several days.

Laura - Your yoga class sounded lovely. I can see where going back and forth between wild thing and side plank would be great for opening up and generating energy.

Pat - Hooray for no squishy ball on the reformer - and super cool that you had a private session with no distractions.

Margot - I'm glad you are enjoying having access to Lee's site for the trial period. I thought that was really generous of them. I still need to do the Croatia practices.

Pam - Oh yes, I remember "morning PF" - ouch!! Such a rude way to start the morning to feel like you're going to fall on your face when you first step out of bed.

Quick post....

I did some Ellen, Barre3, and Essentrics yesterday.

Pam is having trouble posting and just gets error messages. So I thought I'd try posting in the GD and here.

Hi everyone! Just dragged myself over to VF to get some workout motivation. I've been in a funk the last couple of days. Don't know if it's AI issues or just plain tiredness. Friday featured one of LWR's 25 minute workouts and yesterday I read on the recumbent bike at gym. No PT, bad girl!

Jackie I've had those errors, it's weird. I always panic that Wendy pulled the plug on VF.

Cyana - thank you for posting both of those links - I'm going to do them soon and pull myself out of this funk.

Everyone have a wonderful day - see you all on Moan Day!

I tried to post several times yesterday and this morning but kept getting a server error message, strange.... After soooo many tries it finally worked, but I had to edit out the personals. Although it’s still longer than my initial post yesterday, lol. Personals to come shortly....

ETA I cleared out my cache & cookies, reset the modem, reset my internet connection & restarted my tablet several times.....finally worked. I had sent Wendy a FB message and she just replied saying she just finished rebooting the server and that may have been what solved it. In any case, I am back!

Friday's workouts...
~Classical Stretch 1116 Posture - this felt great, all standing, lots of big movements
~Ellen’s Sleek Sculpt Express
~5 km walk
~Yin forward bends & hip openers, YTU style upper & mid back acupressure - I’ve been listening to an audio book while I stretch. It’s a book club selection & I’ll be hosting the discussion in Oct.

Yesterday’s workouts:
~Classical Stretch 1003 Spine Stretch for Posture
~Ellen’s Moving for Beauty
~12 km walk in Hastings, a lovely town on the shores of English Channel. It was the setting for the British drama series “Foyle’s War”.
~Yin & YTU style acupressure as above

Today’s workouts:
~ETV: Posture & Spine
~Gaia: Wrist Free Energy Flow - a lovely one with Kreg Weiss, I think you’d really like it Pat!
~4 km walk
~YTU style torture to come later, lol I do think it’s helping....

Waves to all!

Back with some shout outs...

Margot - We loved Canterbury, so charming & pretty! I hope your exema flare up settles down! Are your assignments all done now? I think inversion stool could be hard on the shoulders to start but I think that will ease off as I get better at it. I felt like I got a nice neck release from it though as there’s no weight on my head. My son has picked up the used one at home so it will be waiting for me.

Pat - Yes we have been exploring the countryside, lots of pretty little villages in all directions. I’m so glad you enjoyed your second reformer session, but sorry you’re in a funk. (((Hugs)))

Cyana - The singing bowl meditation is very cool, I listened to the first few minutes.

Jackie - I like your trio of workouts, my kinda combo!

Waves to all!

I've been playing around with listening to various types of meditations - particularly those using singing bowls. I'm in sound bath withdrawal and hope the yoga studio will be hosting one before too much longer. I've been sitting with a big decision and have found listening to the meditations to be helpful. And even though I know work will be beyond crazy when I get back tomorrow, I don't feel any stress about it.

Pam - We binge-watched a couple of seasons of Doc Martin on Acorn this week - filmed in Port Isaac - Cornwall. I'd love to go back to England and tour outside of London. There was so much to do in London - since our son was around 10 at the time - we did a much different trip than we would do today.

Pat - Hope you get de-funked soon. I feel like the meditations really helped me get out of a stuck place - I'll see if I can sustain it once the reality of being back at work hits tomorrow.

Waves to ALL.

Happy Moan Day! I hope you are and not today.

Yesterday featured:
  1. YoQi Daily Energy Routine
  2. TempleSounds Quick Chakra Tune Up
  3. Beach walk
  4. Gym for recumbent bike and weight machines

Cyana - thank you! I loved both of those. Together they helped get me out of that funk. I put off all my chores and drove immediately to the beach for a soul purification afterward. I'm going to check out all the others you posted, thank you so much for the links.

Pam thank goodness you can post again. Thanks for messaging Wendy, we never see her anymore and I hope she is okay.

Good morning Jackie, Laura, Sherry, Donna, Margot and anyone who visits.
