Kathy's audio workouts are extremely well done, and are way better than her video walking workouts. she has the Lean Walk System and the WalkFit system - these are also available as downloads from her site. Kathy also did an audio CD walking workout for her Project You set.

The WW set includes an audio CD with different content. i found it to be more intense than the DVD workouts in the WW set.

Can you tell i really like audio CDs? Kathy Smith's are by far the best, but the others that i had mentioned are pretty good. Leslie Sansone has walking CDs called walking for everybody and so does Denise Austin called Trimwalk.

This is an old thread, but since it had so many wonderful walking workouts mentioned, I thought I’d post my new walking workout discovery here :-)

This is a walking workout set to music from the 80’s -so that was a big plus for me. Since it’s led by a woman close to my age, it’s even better! Not that I am an age snob, but sometimes it’s nice to have an instructor that looks like an average woman.

Karla, thanks!

another thing to try: dance workout DVDs - just march in place or if you choose, follow their moves. the very first Dancing With the Stars really got my HR up according to my HRM.

another good one: Hip Hop Abs with Shaun T. moves are easy, and such creative arm moves! his Dance Party Series Rockin Abs and Hard Body use light dumbbells, ala "4-limb" style. again, very creative arm moves and the footwork is easy to follow.
