Margot, I am so sorry that you are going through a stressful time. I hope things improve soon. <3

This morning I did:

-Sarah Beth yoga yin yoga for the hips

-Just Jhoom dance workout 38 minutes. I bought this years ago and maybe used it once. I did not sleep well, so I needed shorter cardio. It was really fun. I kept it low impact. I will definitely use this one again.

We are headed out ,so I will check back later. Have a good day! I may do some Misty Tripoli and an upper body yoga if I have the energy. My shoulders are really tight.

Hi everyone, catching up a bit:

Valentine's Day yoga - Open Your Heart yin practice with Tiffany Cruikshank; 6,237 steps.

Yesterday - GYM for weights, cable machine PT and recumbent bike. It's great to feel progress in my lower body/glute strength from sticking with my PT!

Margot - I am very sorry that you are having troubles. Best wishes with everything, and I hope you come back to visit when you are able. Praying that your energy work will give you solutions and/or comfort.

Kate - I want to thank you for the motivation! Just seeing your workouts makes me think about ramping it up more and thanks for the reminder that "doing it" gives you more oomph and energy.

Pam, I did live in Honolulu, less than two years. I hated to leave. My favorite beach was Hanauma Bay and secondarily Diamond Head Beach. Can you imagine, I just took the bus to those places every weekend? Sigh, I miss it. I regret not having visited the other islands while there but we were scratching by on military pay and my minimum wage job. Safe travels, stay well!!

Sherry, I do still have my YBBs and have been getting the itch to use them again. Let us know when yours get here and you get to use them.

I'll have to check out your YT vid, Cyana. I've been in an Alice in Chains mood lately.

Edited to remove rant about working on my taxes with the paper forms. Uck!

Today is my rest day, but Sarah Beth posted a yoga for when you're stiff and achy, so I did that. I also did a meditation from Faith Hunter's you tube channel.

Pat, we have always wanted to to go Hawaii. I can't imagine living there! Maybe someday we will get there. Good luck with your taxes. I bow down to you doing them yourself. Ours are too complicated because my husband's employer's headquarters is in another state (so we have two state returns) and we sell enough on Amazon to get a tax statement, so we use an accountant.

I will let you know when I get the YBB Lives and use them again. I've had them and gotten rid of them and reacquired them more than once. I am keeping them this time! I will use them as add on cardio. I loved the instructors and live music but thought the cardio was too short. I also found their Pajama Time dvd for cheap. I didn't have yoga bolsters the last time I had it, so it was hard to use. Now I have two bolsters, so I will try the practice again.

I did not end up doing any more exercise yesterday. I should have at least stretched. I may do some stretching later. I'm really sore for some reason.
I got sucked into watching Breaking Bad on AMC again

We had a nice time going out yesterday. My DH took me to a favorite record store where he and our son spend a lot of time. I hadn't been there before. He takes way longer browsing than I do, but I was prepared. They have a "listening room" with a comfortable couch, so I just read the book I had with me until he was done and then we went to lunch afterwards. We are having nice weather today, so we will get out somewhere today.

I hope everyone has a nice day.

Sherry

Another gym workout yesterday. I had a long yin or restorative yoga in mind for my sore muscles, but DH wanted to go to the gym so I went for support. I did 20 minutes hill climb on the treadmill then cable squats, leg extensions, tricep pushdowns, lat pulls and some DBs for the shoulders. OMG I'm so sore today.

Sherry I will have to find Sarah's stiff and achy practice, sounds perfect. I got tickets for A Bowie Celebration, it's coming to our local arts center next month. I'm so excited to be seeing Corey Glover of Living Colour live.

Greetings to all! If you have today off, I hope you are enjoying it.

Pat, Have a great time at the concert. They are playing dates near us.
Living Colour played at my college in the late 1980s and they were great.

Good morning everyone. Not much for me. I was so sore from back to back gym days and planned a long stretchy practice, but by the time I finished laundry, cleaning the house and getting something in the slow cooker it seemed like a good idea for yoga nidra - Kia Miller's Yoga Nidra with Chakra Visualization (Glo). Very nice!!

Sherry I'm jealous you got to see Living Colour back in the day. I keep my fingers crossed they'll come up here to the casino, but so far it seems they stay close to home.

Hello everyone. The day off was much needed, but put me way behind on my trial transcript. I hope Pam is safe and well.

Pat, you are doing great with your gym workouts! I need to pick up weights again.

This morning:
- Deante Dance Percussive Jam 27 minutes
-Richard Simmons Sweatin to the Oldies 1 38 minutes

They were both enjoyable.

I hope to do yoga later.

Popping in to say aloha!

We are enjoying the warm Hawaiian sun! I’ve been doing a lot of walking, getting 20,000+ steps in every day. So far my foot is doing okay. I went for a lovely long swim yesterday and plan to do that most days. I’ve also been stretching daily as well.

Waves to all!

Hi everyone! Did some more from Green Energy last night - Green Energy 1. Awkward kriya but feels good afterward.

Also a Tias Little meditation on Glo - Yoga Nidra From the Outside In - which was absolutely the best yoga nidra I've ever experienced outside of a special workshop at the studio. Right at the part where I always pass out, he plays these gentle wind chime sort of tinkling bells - it keeps you in deep, but not asleep.

Hi Cyana!

Glad to hear you got there safely, Pam! Enjoy.
