I remember The (English) Beat was popular in college. RIP
Two other recently passed musical figures, Scott Walker of the Walker Brothers, known for the 60's hit The Sun Ain't Gonna Shine Anymore, and legendary session drummer Hal Blaine who played on tons of hits and was still drumming at age 90. My personal favorite of his was Herb Alpert's A Taste Of Honey.

Yes, that was a fun film. I also liked the documentary about Tower Records.
