New Member from Germany

Hi,
I have lurked around for a while now and enjoyed the discussions very much. So I think its time to introduce myself. I have started with videos some three years ago. My first one was from Suzan Powter since she is one of the few easily available instructors in Germany. I liked her, got all of her stuff and then looked around for more. That was hard. We have some terrible DVDs in Germany! Total crap. On one of my trips to the US I brought home some Kathy Smith and Karen Voight videos. They were much better and I started in earnest ;-) (and left Susan Powter behind).
Now I have a bunch of Cathe DVDs, the Firms BSS2 and Transfirmer, etc.
I'm still an low intermediate exerciser, I still can't handle a full Cathe workout all of the time, but I'm getting better.
I'm still looking around and thinking about joining one of the challenge groups.
Any recommendations? I like cardio and the mixed strength and cardio workouts (AWT?). I'm not so fond of solely strength workouts (but I think I'm getting there ;-)
Your all very nice to each other around here and I appreciate this very much!

Welcome, Jura. I'm glad to hear your collection has expanded from just Susan Powter. I started with one of her videos as well.

If I were you, I would read a few of the check-ins to see which ones you fit in with the best in terms of workouts being discussed, personality, etc. The ones I would focus on, given your interests, are:

>Cardio Cross Trainer Babes (that one's mine, so I HAD to give it a plug )
>AWT
>Intermediates
>Moms in Motion (if you are a mom)
>If you wanted to try something short term, you could look at Every Day in January (or February, if it takes awhile to get around to it).

With any check in or challenge, all you have to do is reply to one of their threads and introduce yourself. Good luck!
