fitnessblender.com has several great stretching routines. My favorite is "Lower Back Stretches for Sciatica Pain". I try to do this daily. It really helps with my mobility and is 9 minutes long.

In addition to Classical Stretch, yin and restorative yoga - anything from Lee Holden works for me.

I also really like Mirabai Holland's Flexibility. As of now I only have Level 1 so I can't compare to Levels 2 and 3, but I really like it.

Essentrics Classical Stretch
Favorite pure stretching - Ultimate Stretch Workouts. Muscle Release Stretch. After doing that episode before bed, I feel sleep like an adult who drank a Long Island Ice Tea cocktail.

I'm a Classical Stretch/Essentrics fan too.

Part of dealing with my aches and pains is finding the right balance between strength and flexibility.

Something about kettlebell swings seems to be really good for me, I have less trouble with tight hamstrings/PF when I'm consistent.

My low back had been hurting every morning and into the afternoon for over a month. it would hurt to get up from a sitting position and felt tight and achy when I tried to stretch. So I didn't. Well that obviously is a bad idea. A few days ago I decided to try a Classical Stretch "back pain" episode and later that day I felt so much better. Yesterday morning I did another episode for back pain and again, much improvement. So I'd recommend CS. It can't be a coincidence that my pain is going away after I'd done these a few times. Now if only I can stick with it.

I'm sorry you've been hurting but thank you for posting this!! You've reminded me that I haven't done the back pain DVD in quite some time, and it really might do me some good.

If I can only remember to do it! If you ask me, half the trouble with CS is that there are so many wonderful workouts it's tempting to try them all.
