Cathe Trivia Question ... no prize except gratitude

My son and I were joking about some of the songs on Cathe workouts where they take the tune of a popular song but change the lyrics. I'm sure there's a technical name for that, but whatever. Does anyone remember what workout has a Nicki Minaj song, but instead of "Starships" they sing about hips hypnotizing? Bonus points if you can remember what part of the workout it's in.

No, this was exactly the same tune as "Starships" by Nicki Minaj, but it wasn't her singing and the lyrics were different. I don't think Cathe ever uses original songs by the original singers, does she?

I've only previewed it, but IIRC it was in Xtrain Supercuts.

I don't believe she does (too expensive).

I don't know the specific song you're referring to, but the set of workouts that includes Party Rockin step 1 & 2, X-10, and Rockout Knockout has lots of the kinds of songs you're referring to, so maybe that song is in this set somewhere. I just fell in love with that series all over again this past couple of weeks! The music is awesome!

Bingo, Garrie! It was indeed in Supercuts ... in the Sprint Shooters part. I had really forgotten how much I used to do X-Train, and those were really great workouts. I also like the music in the Party Rockin' Step series, but I don't remember "My Hips Will Hypnotize" in any of those workouts.

Sorry for getting back to this thread so late. One of our kitties got seriously ill right after I posted and I've been totally preoccupied with that.
