Thank you for posting these premix times. I typed them up in chart form, printed on card stock, & slipped in the back of the DVD. Even though they are considered "30 minutes to fitness" workouts, I have to factor in the warm up & cool down into my precious morning time before work (I don't mind cutting a little off that part). These premix times will help me choose the best workout for the time I have. Thanks again!

I finally got around to trying Strength and Stamina; I did workout one, but honestly, I found it rather boring. But I'm not into heavy weights and traditional weight training anymore, and with three rounds of each exercise, I watched the clock the whole time...

BUT the mini step workout makes up for the rest of the workout in my opinion -- I was thinking how I may trade this one away but I'll keep just for the fun factor of that step workout! Please make a whole new step workout, Kelly!!!

I haven't tried it yet but the one and two rounds premixes look good. I did combine 1 and 2 last week using the 2 set premixes and it went by quickly. During the week I have to watch my time and keep rest breaks to a minimum.

I have yet to do the step. One of my check in buddies said it is great. I'll have to set something time aside to do it.

I haven't tried the workouts yet. But I'm also just going to do the premixes with two sets and swings.

I previewed the lower body premix from Strength & Stamina hoping to provide a list of the lower body work for the workouts, but the exercises are only done once, not multiple sets like in the full workouts. Anyway, here is the list of exercises, I don' t know how many sets of the kb swings, etc. there are:

Heavy db's front squats ( holding db's under your chin or goblet squats with 1 db

Kb swings

Power scissors

Kb swings 1 arm then the other

Heavy db's suitcase deadlifts

Kb figure 8's through your legs with light db

Side lunges with figure 8's light db

Kb alternating swings

Straight jumps

Kb swings

Light db's front & back lunge combo

Kb 1 arm swings

Speed skaters

Kb figure 8 swings

Light db pop squats

Kb alternating swings

She doesn't include the bridges she does on the floor in the full workout. Hope this list helps.

Thanks Jennifer! That's very appealing to know that the exercises are not repeated in the premix. (I know which version i'll be doing!)

Combined Burnout premixes on Strength & Stamina

I was curious what was in the Combined Burnout premixes on Strength & Stamina. Here is the exercise order in case you're curious, too.

Combined Burnout - Mix of workouts 1 & 2:

Back exercises from Workout 1 (Heavy)
Dumbbell reverse pec deck (rear flys) / Front (or goblet) squats 3X
Two-handed swings

Back exercises from Workout 2 (Light)
Lateral raise pull downs / Jumps 3X
Two-handed swings

Biceps exercises from Workout 1 (Heavy)
Biceps curl w/ supination / Split switches 3X
Single arm swings

Biceps exercises from Workout 2 (Light)
Half side curl, half reverse curl / front-back lunges 3X
Single arm swings

Shoulder exercises from Workout 1 (Heavy)
Single arm overhead press / suitcase deadlift 3X
Kettlebell figure 8

Shoulder exercises from Workout 2 (Light)
Front/side lateral raises / skaters 3X
Kettlebell figure 8

Triceps exercises from Workout 1 (Heavy)
Overhead triceps extension / dumbbell side lunge figure 8's 3X
Alternating kettlebell swing

Triceps exercises from Workout 2 (Light)
Rear triceps lift to triceps extension / Pop squats 3X
Alternating kettlebell swing

Chest exercises from Workout 1 (Heavy)
Single-arm bench press / glute raises 3X

Chest exercises from Workout 2 (Light)
Dumbbell close grip press to pullover / glute raise pulses 3X

Stretch from Workout 2

If you select the combined burnout workout with no swings, it is the same exercise order without the swings.
