I have Muscle Milk and EAS Carb Advantage (not the low carb though as it has more in it) for those times I need something fast plus it is a great chocolate fix. I've also been making a green smoothie with spinach, berries, banana, protein powder, cinnamon, and flax seed and even though it looks like baby poop, it is actually not bad but I can't just drink the whole cup in a short amount of time. Someone at work tried it and didn't care for it. It's the cinnamon that throws you off I think. I like the idea of just adding green powder in with the protein powder.

I saw this powder at whole foods today: http://www.newchapter.com/products/berry-green-pouch and thought it may add a lot of similar Shakeology stuff to regular protein powders.

It was $70 for a 60 day supply at WF. A 74 day supply of all natural whey is $40 at vitamin shoppe, so it would be about half the price, and all organic/natural.

Regarding Shakeology, what exactly is in a 30-day supply? I assume it's a protein powder, so how many shakes can you make from your $119 supply? Can you order a single canister of powder?

I ask because I don't make myself protein shakes daily; I have one maybe once or twice a week, depending on my motivation and what fruits I have on hand. I like Designer Whey, but I would be willing to give something else a try.

I add Greens Plus Berry powder and ground flaxseed to my Designer Whey shakes. Boosts the nutritional content for a lot less than Shakeology:

It's a 30-serving canister.

Eating or juicing some fruits and veggies and/or taking a multi-vitamin will give you the same nutrients without all the sugar and fat that are in that drink (and without the huge pricetag).

I was wondering if you tried this yet & what you thought. I was going to order their "Free" sample, but it would cost me $3.95 in shipping (to ship one little packet).

I'm looking for a good tasting meal replacement drink. Another option is to just get protein drinks (Lean Desserts is really good), but still, I'd have to eat a meal too.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!
