I hope the Sansone camp reads your post!

Thanks for responding, Barb.

You're right - It would be cool to see a Leslie rebounding tape. I'd like to see a real beginner one from someone - but I'm not ready to spend $29.95 on one. I'd rather pick one up at Target or somewhere cheaply first.

BTW, I did the LS WAP Two Mile tape on the rebounder, and I think I worked up twice the sweat! (that's twice the smilies)

Reposting info. here

I posted this on another rebounding thread and I thought I should post this info. here since it's the official rebounder sub. thread.

Leslie's Too Busy to Workout is an excellent workout on the rebounder. It's Leslie's highest impact video and it's a perfect fit for the rebounder. You can find this video pretty cheap at Ebay.

Even though I personally haven't tried it yet, I'm sure her new jogging tape that comes in the 3-pack will work well, too. I should make it my mission to do this tape this week.

Smile tell me more.....

I was so happy to see this thread that I decided to de-lurk! I have been doing CTX for two weeks, and I am SO happy with the results. Unfortunately, I won't be able to keep it up, because my knees are complaining. I saw in one post that the CTX high-impact portions are suitable for rebounding; any more thoughts on this? I don't have a rebounder (yet!) -- so, I am really interested in brand suggestions too. Thanks!

Results Total Body Fat Burning & Fat Burning for Dummies

Todd Gheisar Results Total Body Fat Burning and Gay Gasper's Fat Burning for Dummies worked well on the rebounder. The side-to-side lunges in Todd's tape were a little awkward and I need a better substitution for that move. Gay's tape was almost perfect since it has only a little front-to-back and lateral moves. I substituted basic bounces and plyo squats for some moves. The inset on the video that shows the higher impact moves was perfect for the rebounder. I don't think I would do either of these tapes on the floor since I'm not a huge hi/lo fan, but the rebounder breathed new life into them for me.

Kathy Smith Functionally Fit Peak Fat Burning

this interval workout was great when using the rebounder for the higher intensity levels except for the last interval cuz that one seems better on the floor

Barb

how did you like Jump to It, err I mean March to It?

It's dated, but it's a fun workout, hard and definitely no repetitive moves.

I did Too Busy to Workout (just bought it from Amazon site -- I'd given a copy away years ago b/c it was too high impact for me) followed by Walk & Jog, for a "3 mile" workout. Great fun! Sometimes instead of sidesteps or hamstring curls, I do side or back leg lifts. Also, the pendulum move that Leslie uses in Too Busy, is perfect on the rebounder. If I get out of step (although in most Leslie tapes, someone is always out of step; I find this endearing) doing knee lifts or kicks, it's easy to do 2 on each side, "doubles."

I'm glad those two tapes worked out for you. I too thought they were perfect on the rebounder.

Barb, let us know what you think of Too Busy to Workout when you get your copy.

I think I hear my rebounder calling. Oh wait, it's Martha's. HEHE.

Wink Did I hear someone calling me?

I need to get my act together--I've done three real rebounding videos in a row!

Cynthia, I find the out-of-stepness in Leslie's videos endearing, too. In fact, it's nice to see someone get a bit out of sync in other videos every now and then, too--makes me feel like I'm working out with real people and that I'm not the only klutz in the class!
